History

Having acquired extensive shipping experience throughout his career, Mr. Gilson Molinari founded Thalassini in São Paulo on September 1st, 1993.

At first the company’s core business was based on grain cargoes out of Brazil, over the years it has diversified its activities into coal, petroleum coke, ores, bauxite & alumina, steels, fertilizers, sugar and other cargoes into and out of South America as well as cross trading in general.

Today Thalassini has grown into one of the major dry bulk commodity shipbrokerage houses in Brazil.
